Ryan Buck is a veteran bassist of the Atlanta music community. He has played in bands from the ATL metal scene such as Awaken the Ancient, Antikythera Mechanism, and Mezonz. Ryan started this solo project in order to write and perform his unique style of technical metal and jazz fusion. "Attempting to Overcome" is Ryan's first solo single release.

"Attempting to Overcome narrates the struggles that we face everyday but never seem to live down. The problems that will always be there but we have to try everyday to keep them at bay. For some it's depression or addiction, for others it's illness or social pressures; but everyday we have to attempt to overcome. This is my story told on the bass with the help of my great friend Jasper Joyner on the drums. Enjoy the musical journey!" - Ryan Buck
